It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 2026 IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Learning and Optimization (ICoAILO 2026). The conference will be held as a Hybrid Conference on 7–9 October 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia. ICoAILO 2026 is organized and sponsored by the IEEE Signal Processing Society Indonesia Chapter and Telkom University, with support from the Center of Excellence of Artificial Intelligence for Learning and Optimization (AILO), Telkom University.

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly reshaped the landscape of learning, optimization, and intelligent systems across diverse domains, including transportation, healthcare, cybersecurity, smart manufacturing, agriculture, and smart cities. Breakthroughs in machine learning systems, optimization techniques, and applied AI solutions continue to emerge, driven by increasing data availability, computational capabilities, and real-world demands. However, opportunities for disseminating high-quality research and fostering collaboration, particularly in the intersection of AI, learning, and optimization, remain limited in the region.

ICoAILO 2026 is designed to address this gap by providing a focused international forum for researchers, academicians, industry practitioners, and students to present state-of-the-art research, exchange ideas, and build collaborations that advance both theoretical foundations and practical implementations of AI. The conference emphasizes four core tracks that reflect current challenges and future directions of the field.

Track  1  : Machine Learning Systems focuses on the design, analysis, and deployment of robust, scalable, and explainable learning systems, including deep learning architectures, data-centric AI, trustworthy AI, and system-level considerations for real-world applications.

Track 2  : Optimization highlights advances in mathematical optimization, metaheuristics, evolutionary and swarm intelligence, and learning-based optimization methods that address complex, high-dimensional, and dynamic problems.

Track  3   : Cyber Security addresses the growing role of AI in securing digital infrastructures, covering topics such as intelligent threat detection, adversarial learning, phishing and malware analysis, cyber-physical system security, and resilient AI-driven defense mechanisms.

Track  4   : AI Applications showcases innovative and impactful applications of AI across domains, demonstrating how learning and optimization techniques translate into measurable societal, industrial, and organizational benefits.

ICoAILO 2026 will feature technical paper sessions, tutorials, keynote speeches, and technology and business panels, fostering cross-disciplinary interaction and knowledge transfer. Authors are invited to submit their original research contributions. Following a rigorous peer-review process, accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

We look forward to welcoming you to ICoAILO 2026 and to your valuable contributions toward advancing artificial intelligence for learning and optimization.

Best Regards,

Prof. Ir. Agus Pratondo, S.T., M.T., Ph.D
